Morse Decoder for Android

Morse Decoder decodes Morse code characters through the built-in microphone of your Android device.Morse Decoder can be used by Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) operators or anyone else interested in decoding Morse code from a Radio or any other device.Morse Decoder includes a "waterfall" to show a frequency spectrum of about 50Hz to 2300Hz. A narrow band DSP filter can be set for the frequency of the Morse code tones by tapping the waterfall. The DSP filter is followed by an automatic gain control (AGC) to compensate for changing signal strengths. The detected signal will be shown as a graph and several algorithms will then detect the speed of the Morse code and convert them into readable text. Speeds of less than 4 Wpm (Words per Minute) to more than 50 Wpm can be decoded. For any question please visit our new forum at http://www.wolphi.com/forum/This is the first version of Morse Decoder. It has been tested on several Android devices and it performed very well or even better than PC based decoding software. However, since we are not able to test the performance on all 150+ Android devices there is the possibility that Morse Decoder will not work on all devices. If Morse Decoder doesn’t work on your device you can uninstall Morse Decoder within 15 Minutes for a full refund (This is the time frame given by Google and I am not able to change it). If the 15 minutes passed and you are not happy with Morse Decoder email me as soon as possible at [email protected]. Please include your name and the model of your phone in the email. I will then refund you the money as fast as possible. It is important that you include the model of your device. I will try to find the cause for the malfunction or include your phone model in a list of “not working” devices.added privacy policy

Works great for an Android app, have to go to setting and turn the squelch down before it will start working properly

Stopped decoding on Samsung phone. Squelch off, lovely clear cw coming through, phone next to rig...nothing happening?

Doesn't seem to work over the air all that well. Cables needed.

I really wanted this to work so I bought it a second time. This time I did a better job of isolating the input from other sounds. It seems to be working although I haven't been able to find suitable very high speed for testing. I'm going too keep it this time and modify my review. Motorola Moto Z4.

Unfortunately this is a complete waste of money and dissapointing. I have purchased numerous wolfi apps that have been brilliant. This doesn't decode Morse no matter what I do in the settings. Also, dispite emailing I can't get any support or a refund. Really dissatisfied.

A bit hit and miss (probably more miss) when decoding morse code. Plenty of times it just doesn't recognise the morse code being played. It has worked a couple of times though. I'm using a Samsung S10+. Maybe it works better on different phones

David Clarke

Poor. There are no settings to adjust. I used a tone program with different speeds and different output frequencies and even different speakers. The app picked up less than 10% of the correct letters. The graph represented the pulses clearly so I'm not sure why the transcription failed.

Once you play with it awhile, it turns out to be quit useful. I've had it on the phone about 2 days now and find no complaints, it does what it suppose to do! (KD9QDP)

THIS IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF $5.00!!! I TRIED TO DECODE REPEATER IDENTIFICATION AND I WAS HOPING TO VISUALIZE THE REPEATER CALLSIGN AND IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! UNINSTALLING!!!🤬👎

Great App! I have used it for a while now and it does great with a straight key, paddle, and with the bug.
